Our Mission: Angel Fire Equestrian Center, Inc. contributes to the stimulation and
development of students with physical, mental, emotional, and social limitations
through an educationally based program, utilizing therapeutic horse care and riding.
Our primary clients are underprivileged, at-risk youth; however, we take anyone
interested in learning about horses.

It is our belief that all people can benefit from an association with animals, especially
horses. Our purpose is to help young people become better citizens. We
hope that with their experience at Angel Fire, our students will gain not only the focus
and drive to help them in school, but improve their quality of life for the future.

Angel Fire isn’t just a riding program—we’re a mentoring program. Our
instructors and volunteers dedicate their time and energy to each students’ needs. Our
students participate in a variety of activities such as riding lessons, field trips to area
horse-related & non-horse-related sites, participating in fun days, and attending
camp.

Anyone from 4 to 18 can become a student at Angel Fire, regardless of race,
