Angel Fire Equestrian Center, Inc. is a 501(c)3
corporation located in Coyle, OK.  We began classes in
the summer of 2003 and carry our programs throughout
the year.  

Our program contributes to the stimulation and
development of students with physical, mental, emotional,
and social limitations through an educationally based
program, utilizing horse care and riding.  We believe that
all people can benefit from an association with animals,

Valerie Cotton is the founder and Executive Director of
Angel Fire Equestrian Center. Valerie is a graduate of
Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in
Sociology. She is a certified teacher and before starting
Angel Fire worked for many years as both an instructor
and counselor at Guthrie Job Corps and Guthrie Schools.
Throughout her life she has loved animals and helping
people. With God’s direction she combined those two loves
into the Angel Fire Equestrian Center. She and her
husband, Mitch Cotton, have two children, Eric and
Ashley, one daughter-in-law, Amber, and
two
granddaughters. Valerie, Mitch, and Ashley live on the
site in Coyle, Oklahoma, with l
ots of horses, dogs, cats,
